Flying the Flag

Over the Jubilee weekend, you couldn’t turn around without seeing a Union Jack flag being waved either by a person or on a building. It’s been great to see the flag of Great Britain with a sense of true pride attached to it, it’s gone through varying degrees of social opinion, but over the past couple of years it’s quickly reinstated it’s standing as an icon of Great Britain, as well as a retro image used in many marketing tools from 50’s style clothing and furniture to donning the roof of many a Mini Coopers. Here are just a couple of images taken over the weekend, taken at Covent Garden, the London Eye and Regent Street. Even our cat, Tobie, took part in Flag spotting!
